If you have just recently found your perfect brand your perfect shade in makeup you may think it would be a hassle to change into a whole other world of cosmetics. Past experience with natural ingredients has been a watered down version of what your already used to. You may be worried
about coverage and if it will transition easily from your face to your collar. Well I had the same concerns and I thought there is no way I would like natural products more than my new found brand and shade I’ve worked so hard to discover. I knew if I was going to make the change to be healthy inwardly I also had to balance and make that change outwardly.
5 Reasons I made the Switch to Natural Makeup:
#1 Natural products overall are better for the economy
Petroleum and aluminum mining are two of the things that kill the Amazon forest and other precious lands alike. Petroleum and aluminum are two of the major ingredients in most commercial beauty products.
#2 Nutrients on your face
With all the hormonal issues I’ve had in the past that affected my skin, what a relief it was to know that having an allergic reactions were minimized knowing that my skin is absorbing natural fatty acids and nutrient rich oils.
#3 Gentle on your skin
Besides the drying out of certain parts of my skin, the follicle damage I wa causing to my eyelashes be coming a disaster so I was happy to first replace my mascara. It’s already hard enough to grow lashes long and thick, so to throw some berries on there was just all for the better. I definitely cannot complain with my new Fruit Pigmented® Ultra Lengthening Mascara.
#4 You Age Gracefully
Because its natural don’t think your not getting that UV protection that we’ve always trusted our inorganic products to have. In fact if we bring ourselves literally back to nature we would be using our mineral rich organic fruits and plants to protect ourselves from the harsh aging UV rays. Man made is no better that what our creator provided for us Trust Me! With so many natural ways to enhance our beauty, means less harsh chemicals to make us a slab of leather come year 2030.
#5 No Harsh Chemicals
I don’t mean to scare anybody but these are just a few of the things I found on the front page of google when I ask: ‘what chemicals are found in most makeup products that are harmful?’ and this is not even the full page. Mostly every product found in makeup is a carcinogen or either something bad for one of the major functioning systems in the body. When I researched everything for myself is when I was pretty much set on making the switch from poison to organic types of makeup.
- Formaldehyde, a known carcinogen.
- Chemicals that release formaldehyde.
- Mercury, which can damage the kidney and nervous system.
- Lead, a potent neurotoxin.
- Asbestos, a known carcinogen.
- Isobutylparaben, isopropylparaben, butylparaben and propylparaben.
- Toluene, which is toxic to the brain and nervous system.
